For NY State SENATE
My name is Elisa Nahoum, a long time resident of Flushing Queens. The most diverse place not only in NYC but the nation. I was raised and educated in the Flushing school system. I have a wonderful family, my husband who is a retired school teacher and 2 incredible children. I created a small business at the age of 20 and several more after that. Flushing Queens NY is my home. I know my neighbors and they know me. I understand their concerns, their fears and the life they want for themselves, their family and the community. That’s why I threw my hat in the ring, There was no way I was just going to sit on my hand watching my neighbors, goodhearted, hard working people suffer because of destructive legislative decisions, for example the Cashless Bail / Prison Reform, causing havoc in our communities w recorded breaking hikes of all kinds of crimes. People are literally getting shot while they’re at home. Children can no longer play outside for fear they may never return home. I’m all about Law & Order, if we don’t have that you don’t have life. I’m in this race because I can’t just sit idly and rely on the politicians who were chosen to work for us. They are not working for us the people, they are working for their own interest and agenda. It Stops Now! If elected the first thing I’m going to do is shred the Prison Reform Act that my opponent John Liu is a part of. Yes I’m all for improvement and restructuring, I’ve been a businesswoman all my life, I know what it takes to start, run and maintain a business, I’ve had several, creating jobs for all races, gender and nationality. My record speaks for itself. I’m a Puerto Rican Jewish woman if that’s not diverse than I don’t what is. If you support and vote for me you are voting for a resident that knows exactly what’s going on and I will always have the residents of Queens NY interests as a priority. Go vote for me in person…this is the most important election in the history of Queens NY and the nation.
God Bless you and God Bless America !
